Board of Directors
Charles Angell has worked as a photographer, artist, and retoucher for the past 15
years. He recently recieved his BA in Digital Media Technology from Columbia College
Chicago. He initially founded ICL as photography project and has been working with
Kyle Higgins since 2003 on developing ICL into a photo program. Mr. Angell built and
designed the ICL website; he maintains the image archives; and helps develops new ICL efforts.

Kyle Higgins has a BFA in Photography and anticipates achieving his Masters degree
in Social Work in 2008. He has worked in Chicago public housing and with local
youth for over five years and he has been deeply involved with ICL since 2004. Kyle
oversees the ICL program at Wayman AME Church, is an ICL Board Member, an
exhibitions organizer, and a fundraiser.

Richard E. Lange is the founder and president of Friends Of The Arts, a 501(c)3 arts
support organization founded in 1987. He has been instrumental with helping and
supporting the Inner City Light Project since 2003 with financial advice and
leadership assistance. Richard serves on the Board of ICL as well as working directly
with the students.

Jennifer McGeorge has been involved with ICL as a board member and grant-writer
since 2005. She practices as a Labor & Delivery nurse at Northwestern Memorial
Hospital serving a diverse patient population in downtown Chicago. Ms. McGeorge
also has a BA in Women's Studies & French, and is interested in education and
multiculturalism.
